Shanti Summer Retreat

The Yoga Retreat will be held at a beautiful old Quinta set in a national park and is shaded by lovely fruit trees, giant oak corks and grape vines. The property has a small water-stream and is surrounded by an enourmous national park and a wolf sanctuary. Putting us at close proximity to nature.

We are blessed to offer you three unique yoga spaces, one wooden outdoor platform surrounded by trees – the ideal spot to listen to nature’s sounds while you breathe and move. The second yoga space, the Garden Shala, is an old Victorian Greenhouse with lots of windows. The thrid location is underneath an old willow tree where you can place your feet onto mother earth while you practice.

There will be a morning and evening class every day. The morning class includes a movement practice (asana) and is complimented by meditation, journaling and/or pranayama.

These sessions will form the bedrock of the retreat. The afternoon classes will be themed classes similar to a workshop. These workshops will be themed according to your interest (Please note down during sign up!). We will definitely do at least one extended handstand and one yin yoga class. Other options include an ecstatic dance, kirtan, ice bath, forest walking and many more things.

On one or two of the evenings we will have an additional activity, this could be story telling, a campfire, a yoga nidra, spiritual movie night or a game night. Depending what the group wants and needs.
